The Game Changer: Leveling via Smartwatch & Tablet
The manual method works β but it often drains your patience. Endless walking back and forth or shouting across the site? There is a smarter way now.
- Live on Second Device: Place your phone down and read the tilt live on your Apple Watch, Android Wear OS, or simply in the browser of your tablet or second phone.
- Voice Output: No second device at hand? The app tells you exactly what to do: "Raise the left side by another 3 centimetres."

π European Route Check
Speed limits, tolls, towing rules, or warning signs? The app instantly shows you all the critical traffic specificities for your transit countries.
The 3-Step Method (Classic vs. Smart)
To make sure the water drains properly from the sink and the doors don't swing shut on their own, your caravan or motorhome needs to be level. Whether traditional or smart with your phone β here is the proven order:
The Lateral Axis
Done first. Place a spirit level across the floor β or just put your phone there with the Camping Assistant app. Drive the lower wheel onto a leveling ramp until the tilt reaches zero. Apply the handbrake!
The Longitudinal Axis
Now level the vehicle front-to-back. Adjust the jockey wheel up/down for caravans (or use ramps on the second axis for motorhomes). Smart bonus: Read the tilt live on your smartwatch or tablet β or let the app guide you by voice!
The Corner Steadies
Only now do you wind down the four corner steadies (or hydraulic jacks). Important: These are purely for stabilization and must not lift the vehicle! Tip: Once the app confirms with a green checkmark that the camper is perfectly level, lower the steadies.
